Our guests rave about the “wow” experience they have on every tour. Guests learn something, have fun and have an amazing experience. We are passionate and committed to be Ambassadors for tourism in Kelowna. One of our corporate clients wrote: “The tour wowed all 28 attendees – most of whom were accustomed to the “wow” factor – so going above and beyond was no easy task.”

Patricia Albright and Val Jenner are the owners of Distinctly Kelowna Tours, operated by Wildflower Trails and Wine Tours Ltd. The two women met in 2001 at Thompson Rivers University. Both women had enrolled in the Tour Coordinator Program at the School of Tourism. In retrospect the training they received prepared them well for entrepreneurship.
 
  
They opened their doors for tours in 2003, soon to be followed by the famous Okanagan Mountain Park wildfires which stopped tourism in its’ wake. However the women persevered and continued to grow the business. Each year they have expanded the tours offered and their fleet of vehicles. Although winery tours draw the most guests, their passion remains the Signature Hiking & Winery Tour.

In October, the company won the “2007 Business Excellence Award” sponsored by the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, for the category of 1-5 employees.

The team at Distinctly Kelowna Tours is excited to be a part of the dynamic wine tourism industry in the Okanagan Valley. It is a pleasure to showcase the region’s wine, cuisine, history, geology and stunning natural beauty to guests from around the world.
